S612-REINO UNIDO LONDRES OLA DE CALOR
STORY: Londoners made the most of Britain's hot weather on Saturday (July 12) by taking to the water in The Regent's Park.
Dozens of people rented small peddle and row boats in the north London park as the city reached 30 degrees Celsius, according to the UK's Met Office weather report.
Other Londoners were spotted sunbathing on the park's parched grass, while some took the opportunity to seek shade under trees.
On Friday (July 11), London Mayor Sadiq Khan said on social media website X that cool spaces and water fountains will be expanded to help Londoners cope with the continued heat.
