Children and animals alike enjoyed playing in the snow on Thursday (November 20) as a cold snap brought frosty conditions to parts of the UK and the country's meteorological office issued more weather warnings.

As deer frolicked through fields in northern England, children sledged down snow-topped hills in the south of the country.

Over in Northern Ireland, ducks sheltered under a trampoline in a wintry garden.

The UK's Met Office issued new yellow warnings for snow and ice for parts of England and Scotland on Thursday.
