STORY: US Attorney General Pam Bondi dodged questions on Tuesday (July 15) about US President Donald Trump's comments on the Epstein files at a press conference at the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

When asked if she is expected to keep her job, she said, "I am going to be here for as long as the president wants me here - and I believe he's made that crystal clear."

Bondi declined to comment on deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino, saying she does not discuss personnel matters. Bongino returned to work following a weekend call with the president, according to one source.

I appreciate your question, but this today is about fentanyl overdoses throughout our country and people who have lost loved ones to fentanyl. That's the message that we're here to send today. We've got six months in (Murphy saying ‘It’s been going fast’). It feels like six years. But I was with (FBI) Director (Kash) Patel this morning and we are working on fighting violent crime. We are working on all these issues that we deeply care about to make America safe again and get these drugs off our streets.”
