X089-ISRAEL IMAGENES EJERCITO ATAQUES LIBANO
Israeli army footage released on Wednesday (March 25) showed explosions at where the army said were airstrikes on gas stations used by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Reuters verified the location as Kherbet Selem, Lebanon and near Toul, Lebanon by the buildings, road layout, vegetation and utility poles, which matched satellite imagery.
The exact date when the video was filmed could not be verified. No older versions of the video were found posted online before Wednesday. However, the IDF said that it targeted Al-Amana gas stations in Lebanon.
Lebanon was pulled into the regional war on March 2 when Hezbollah fired missiles into Israel. Since then, Israel has ordered all residents to leave the area south of the Litani River as it pummels the area with air strikes, viewing it as a Hezbollah stronghold.
