Russian strikes hit several buildings in the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia on Wednesday (October 14), where rescuers pulled a 64-year-old man from the rubble and revived him at the scene.

Regional governor Mykhailo Semikin said on Telegram the injured man, the owner of a cash register business, was stabilised, placed on a ventilator and transported to hospital.

The attack damaged the Prague Hotel, residential buildings, office premises and a sports complex, according to local officials and residents. The number of injured rose to two, with a 57-year-old woman also receiving medical treatment, Semikin added.
