X060-ITALIA EL PAPA CON LA CAMISETA DEL REAL MADRID
A woman appeared to climb over the barriers in St Peter's Square on Wednesday (June 3) as Pope Leo was riding through the crowd in his popemobile to greet people gathered for a general audience at the Vatican.
The woman was escorted away by security personnel, and the pontiff continued his tour among the crowd before speaking to the faithful from the altar in the centre of the square.
At the end of the audience, Leo was seen receiving gifts including a Real Madrid football shirt from a bishop. The pope will visit Spain from June 6-12, with stops in Madrid, Barcelona and the Canary Islands.
