Palestinians in Gaza City tried to clear the debris and rubble on Wednesday (August 6) caused by an overnight Israeli strike that hit the area surrounding an UNRWA clinic. The building had been warned of the strike and those in it evacuated earlier in the day.

Meanwhile, people mourned their loved ones who were killed while trying to secure aid yesterday and held funerals outside Al-Shifa hospital.

The Gaza war began when Hamas killed 1,200 people and took 251 hostage in an attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, according to Israeli figures.

Israel's offensive has since killed more than 60,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza health officials.
