Burglars managed to snatch $1.2 million in a luxury watches from a shop in Tokyo on Tuesday (August 25), local media reported.

According to public broadcaster NHK, citing police sources, two men smashed a display case at the shop with hammers and escaped with four luxury watches, all in a matter of “10 seconds” at around noon. Both suspects escaped, one on foot, and the other via a motor scooter.

The incident is currently under police investigation, while the suspects remain at large, local media reported.

The watch shop is located at the Nakano Broadway shopping mall, which houses a number of other luxury goods outlets.
