STORY: U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he was working on sanctions, among other things, with Colombia President Gustavo Petro following their meeting in the Oval Office earlier in the day.

Trump said the meeting between the two leaders was "very good."

"Yeah, we did. We worked on it, and we got along very well. He (Colombian President Gustavo Petro) and I weren't exactly the best of friends, but I was insulted because I never met him. I didn't know him at all. And we got along very well. And now we are. We're working on that. We're working on some other things, too, including sanctions. And we had a very good meeting...I thought he was terrific. He was very busy. We got along great."
