Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at the premiere of “Toy Story 5” in Hollywood on Tuesday (June 9).

Swift, who performs a song for the film’s soundtrack titled “I Knew It. I Knew You,” co-written with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff, joined the cast and crew at the end of the event for a group photo.

Franchise regulars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack attended the premiere, alongside director Andrew Stanton and newcomer Greta Lee, who voices Lilypad, a frog-shaped smart tablet designed for children.

The fifth installment of the popular animated series explores the toys’ fears of becoming obsolete as children turn increasingly to electronic devices. The introduction of Lilypad presents a new challenge, underscoring the story’s relevance in an era shaped by artificial intelligence and digital technology.
