29. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT, DONALD TRUMP, SAYING:

“As you remember, Lindsey and I did not exactly get off to the best of starts. Running against each other, back in 2016, Lindsey said something rather nasty on his flight to becoming the next president of the United States. So naturally, I did something that I shouldn't have done, I shared his personal cell phone number with the millions of people that happened to be watching that particular day, as I made a speech, a very important speech. And I remember the number (202) 228-0292, if anybody wants to give it a shot. His phone exploded. He said, ‘I had that number for 20 years.’ His phone totally… I don't know what he did with it, but it exploded. That was the beginning of a friendship, in a way. But it was Lindsey who had the last laugh because, well, I blew up his phone all for one day, we became great friends and Lindsey did not stop calling me for the next ten years. It was not easy.”

30. TRUMP SPEAKING

Fox News host Sean Hannity, delivering a eulogy, highlighted Graham's steadfast support for both Israel and Ukraine, drawing attention to the presence of Netanyahu and Zelenskiy at the service.

Graham's niece, Emillie Boggs Roberts, also spoke during the service, remembering him as a selfless public servant who never forgot his humble roots.

“I see Prime Minister (Benjamin) Netanyahu is here. Mr. Prime Minister, you two have been a dear friend of mine for 30 years. It's an honor to have you, and Lindsey would have been blown away that you took this long journey with your beautiful bride to be here today. He loved you, he loved the state of Israel, he loved the people of Israel."

34. (SOUNDBITE) (English) GRAHAM'S NIECE, EMILLIE BOGGS ROBERTS, SAYING:

“It's the circle of life that we must all return home to our creator one day. But in my mind, once he was invincible, he was so strong, confident, witty and full of life. How lucky you were all of us to have known Lindsey. He was a humble man from humble beginnings. And he never forgot that. He took care of people in need. He defended the defenseless. He put everyone above himself. He was the most selfless person I have ever known. As they say, he would have given someone the shirt off of his back.”

In addition to Tuesday's ceremonies in Washington, there will be funeral services for Graham on Wednesday (July 29) in South Carolina, where he will be buried.
