"Your Royal Highness, the U.S. intelligence concluded that you orchestrated the brutal murder of a journalist; 9/11 families are furious that you are here in the Oval Office. Why should Americans trust you?"

JOURNALIST SAYING (OFF CAMERA): "I'm with ABC News, Sir." /

11. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT, DONALD TRUMP, SAYING:
"As far as this gentleman is concerned, he's done a phenomenal job. You're mentioning somebody (late Saudi critic Jamal Khashoggi) that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about, whether you like him or didn't like him. Things happened, but he knew nothing about it. And we can leave it at that. You don't have to embarrass our guests by asking a question like that."
Trump said that he is working to approve the sale of advanced U.S. AI chips to Saudi Arabia, signalling a major shift in export policy and deepening tech ties with the kingdom.
Trump also said that Saudi Arabia had agreed to invest $600 billion in the United States with the Saudi Crown Prince promising an increase in investment to $1 trillion.
The Crown Prince, in response, said the kingdom would increase U.S. investment to $1 trillion.

13. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT, DONALD TRUMP, SAYING:
“And I want to thank you because you've agreed to invest $600 billion into the United States. And because he's my friend, he might make it a trillion, but I'm going to have to work on him. But it's 600. We can count on $600 billion, but that number could go up a little bit higher, yes, sir. I don't know. We'll see. But we appreciate it very much. Saudi is going to be investing at least $600 billion, and that means investments in plants, in companies, money on Wall Street, and what it really means for everybody that really counts is jobs. A lot of jobs. We have a lot of jobs. So, I just want to thank you. We've been really good friends for a long period of time. We've always been on the same side of every issue.”
14. CAMERAS AND MEDIA AT MEETING
15. (SOUNDBITE) (English) CROWN PRINCE OF SAUDI ARABIA, MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN, SAYING:
“I believe, Mr. President, today and tomorrow we're going to announce that we are going to increase that $600 billion to almost $1 trillion for investment, real investment and real opportunity by details in many areas. And the agreement that we're signing today in many areas, in technology, in AI, in [unclear], in magnet, etcetera. That will create a lot of investment opportunity between our both countries.” /
TRUMP SAYING: “So you are doing that now. You're saying to me now that the sixth hundred billion will be one trillion.” /
“Definitely. Because what we are signing, it will facilitate that…” /
TRUMP SAYING: “Good. I like that very much."
The United States also reached a defence deal with Saudi Arabia, and Trump said the U.S. would sell F-35 stealth fighter jets to Saudi Arabia.

"I just said it. We're going to sell them F-35s. That's the end of the question, I guess." /
JOURNALIST ASKING (OFF-CAMERA): "Is it part of the security agreement, or no?" /
"No, we're going to have a deal. They're going to purchase F-35s. They're buying them from Lockheed. And it's a great plane."

MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN: "So definitely, we believe having a good relation with all Middle Eastern countries is a good thing. And we want to be part of the Abraham Accords but we want also to be sure that we secure a clear path of two-state solution. TRUMP: "I think we're, you know, I don't want to use the word commitment, but we've had a very good talk on the Abraham Accords. We talked about one-state, two-state. You know, we talked about a lot of things in a short period of time. We'll be discussing it further, too."

35. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT, DONALD TRUMP, SAYING:
“Gaza, while it looks a little bit messy, it has for many, many years, I will tell you, many decades, but it's getting very close to being perfected. And people are shocked. And even the great experts that have gone around criticising badly every country and every president and everything, they're all saying that what's taking place in the Middle East is a miracle. They're just calling it a miracle. And we're going to make it a miracle. And we're very close to doing that."
36. TRUMP SPEAKING
37. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT, DONALD TRUMP, SAYING:
"A lot of work has been done by Hamas. And a lot of a lot of people said they wouldn't be doing that, but they did do it. And the bodies have been delivered to the families, to the mothers, to the fathers, and at least they can
be in peace. It's amazing. It was a miserable period of time. We have two more to go and I think we'll be getting them also."

"A lot of progress has been made with respect to Gaza and just about everything else we touch.
