STORY: Eyewitness video on Tuesday (February 17) showed protesters chanting "Death to Khamenei" at a cemetery in Abdanan in Iran's Ilam province before what sounded like gunfire was heard.

Reuters confirmed the location as the cemetery in Abdanan by the cemetery layout, gate to the cemetery, utility poles and trees seen in the videos which matched satellite imagery of the area. The shape of the mountains in the background matched topography mapping of the area. The exact date could not be verified. However, a rights activist inside Iran told Reuters there were reports of gunfire at the funeral procession in Abdanan on (Tuesday) February 17. The position of the shadows indicates video was filmed in the afternoon local time.
