"Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead. This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty THUGS. He was unable to avoid our Intelligence and Highly Sophisticated Tracking Systems and, working closely with Israel, there was not a thing he, or the other leaders that have been killed along with him, could do. This is the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their Country. We are hearing that many of their IRGC, Military, and other Security and Police Forces, no longer want to fight, and are looking for Immunity from us. As I said last night, “Now they can have Immunity, later they only get Death!” Hopefully, the IRGC and Police will peacefully merge with the Iranian Patriots, and work together as a unit to bring back the Country to the Greatness it deserves. That process should soon be starting in that, not only the death of Khamenei but the Country has been, in only one day, very much...

On April 5, Trump warned Iran in a Truth Social post that "Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran."

Trump has renewed a threat to intensify attacks on energy infrastructures and announced Iran had 48 hours to open up shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz, the vital conduit for around a fifth of the world's oil and natural gas supply, which has been largely shut down.

"A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!"

In a post on Truth Social on April 12, Trump said the U.S. Navy would immediately start blockading the Strait of Hormuz and would also interdict every vessel in international waters that had paid a toll to Iran.

The remarks came hours after U.S-.Iran peace talks ended without a deal.

17. SCREENSHOT OF U.S. PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP'S TRUTH SOCIAL ACCOUNT WITH POST READING: (English):

"Iran promised to open the Strait of Hormuz, and they knowingly failed to do so. This caused anxiety, dislocation, and pain to many people and Countries throughout the World. They say they put mines in the water, even though all of their Navy, and most of their “mine droppers,” have been completely blown up. They may have done so, but what shipowner would want to take the chance? There is great dishonor and permanent harm to the reputation of Iran, and what’s left of their “Leaders,” but we are beyond all of that. As they promised, they better begin the process of getting this INTERNATIONAL WATERWAY OPEN AND FAST! Every Law in the book is being violated by them. I have been fully debriefed by Vice President JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner, on the meeting that took place in Islamabad through the kind and very competent leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, of Pakistan. They are very extraordinary men, and continuously thank me for saving 30 to 50 million lives in what would have been a horrendous War with India. I always appreciate hearing that — The amount of Humanity spoken of is incomprehensible."

18. SCREENSHOT OF U.S. PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP'S TRUTH SOCIAL ACCOUNT WITH POST READING: (English):

"So, there you have it, the meeting went well, most points were agreed to, but the only point that really mattered, NUCLEAR, was not. Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the Finest in the World, will begin the process of BLOCKADING any and all Ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz. At some point, we will reach an “ALL BEING ALLOWED TO GO IN, ALL BEING ALLOWED TO GO OUT” basis, but Iran has not allowed that to happen by merely saying, “There may be a mine out there somewhere,” that nobody knows about but them. THIS IS WORLD EXTORTION, and Leaders of Countries, especially the United States of America, will never be extorted. I have also instructed our Navy to seek and interdict every vessel in International Waters that has paid a toll to Iran. No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas. We will also begin destroying the mines the Iranians laid in the Straits. Any Iranian who fires at us, or at peaceful vessels, will be BLOWN TO HELL! Iran knows, better than anyone, how to END this situation which has already devastated their Country. Their Navy is gone, their Air Force is gone, their Anti Aircraft and Radar are useless, Khomeini, and most of their “Leaders,” are dead, all because of their Nuclear ambition. The Blockade will begin shortly. Other Countries will be involved with this Blockade. Iran will not be allowed to profit off this Illegal Act of EXTORTION. They want money and, more importantly, they want Nuclear. Additionally and, at an appropriate moment, we are fully “LOCKED AND LOADED,” and our Military will finish up the little that is left of Iran! President DONALD J. TRUMP"

Trump said on April 17 that the naval blockade on Iran will "remain in full force" until a deal with Tehran is struck.

"The Strait of Hormuz is completely open and ready for business and full passage, but the naval blockade will remain in full force and effect as it pertains to Iran, only, until such time as our transaction with Iran is 100% complete," he wrote on Truth Social in all caps.

His comments came after Iran said the Strait of Hormuz was open to all vessels following a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon.

THIS PROCESS SHOULD GO VERY QUICKLY IN THAT MOST OF THE POINTS ARE ALREADY NEGOTIATED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER! PRESIDENT DONALD J.TRUMP"

Trump said on May 11 that the ceasefire with Iran was "on life support," after dismissing Tehran's response to a U.S. peace proposal as "stupid."

Trump's swift rejection of Iran's response on May 10 fuelled concerns that the 10-week-old conflict will drag on and continue to paralyse shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump on May 27 said that he was not yet satisfied on a deal with Iran, adding that the U.S. was not discussing easing sanctions on the country.

Trump said under a potential framework deal with Tehran, the Strait of Hormuz would open immediately but that it would not be controlled by anybody.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Trump's comment on Oman. Oman's embassy in Washington also did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

That's part of the negotiation that we have, they would like to control. Nobody's going to control it, its international waters. And, Oman will behave just like everybody else or we'll have to blow them up. They understand that, they'll be fine."

In an interview broadcast on June 3, Trump acknowledged calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "crazy" in an expletive-filled phone exchange over fighting in Lebanon, while the U.S. was trying to negotiate an end to hostilities with Iran.

Trump was asked whether he had called the longtime Israeli leader "effing crazy" and accused him of ingratitude, paraphrasing a report by Axios.

TRUMP: ''I did. I wouldn't say angry. I was a little bit perturbed at his constantly fighting with Lebanon, you know. At some point, I said, 'Bibi, we've gotta stop this. We got to stop it'."

In the same podcast interview, Trump said Iran's Ayatollah remains actively involved in diplomatic negotiations with the United States, and that he would like to meet him.

TRUMP: "Well, they say he is, giving approval because that's the way it is. Has been for a long, long time. His father and then him. I guess it's a succession, but we seem to be getting along quite well."

DEVINE: "Would you like to meet him or meet any of the Iranians in person?"

TRUMP: "I've never thought of it. Actually, it's a very good question. I'll think of it. Yeah, I'd like to meet him. I'd like to meet everybody. I'd like to meet him. I would, probably will meet at some point."
