The BBC reported four people were arrested for violent disorder in the early hours of Friday (July 10) following the World Cup quarter-final clash between France and Morocco that took place in the U.S. city of Boston on Thursday (July 9).

Footage showed a crowd gathered on the street as police vehicles drove by.

France comfortably won the game 2-0 as Morocco lacked in attacking threat, leaving the North Africans crashing out of a World Cup's latter stages in two consecutive tournaments to the 2-time world champions.

The BBC also reported a police officer was injured in the head and taken hospital after he was believed to have been hit by a glass bottle.
