Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy visited a new joint Ukrainian-German drone production facility in Germany on Friday (February 13), where he received the first jointly manufactured attack drone.

Zelenskiy announced on social media platform X that the operational line is the first of 10 planned joint ventures across Europe expected to launch by the end of the year.

Accompanied by German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, the Ukrainian leader inspected drone production, emphasizing that such technologies are "crucial" for supporting soldiers on the front lines.

“We are already buying everything we can get in terms of drones. We are training our soldiers already,” Pistorius said, adding that Germany remains committed to expanding procurement to meet the evolving demands of modern warfare.
