Earthquake survivors in Pereira, Colombia, continued living in makeshift camps four days after a devastating quake destroyed dozens of buildings and left hundreds homeless. In a park next to the city center, families improvised shelters using ropes and tarps strung between palm trees, while volunteers prepared communal meals over open fires.

Brayan Alberto Ceballo Acevedo, who lost his business and motorcycle, said from his tent that despite receiving food and hygiene supplies, "I lost everything because all of this was destroyed." Coordinator Cristian Galviz appealed for donations of non-perishable food, tents, flashlights, and blankets, saying, "the assistance we need is enormous."

Pereira's municipal government reported 66 buildings completely collapsed, according to local media reports.
