STORY: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he had discussed with the visiting Secretary of the U.S. Army on Thursday (November 20), ways to work with Washington on a plan to end the war with Russia.

"Our teams -- Ukraine and the USA - will work on the points of the plan to end the war," Zelenskiy wrote on Telegram after meeting a delegation that included Daniel Driscoll, Secretary of the U.S. Army in Kyiv.

"We are ready for constructive, honest and prompt work."

Zelenskiy's office said he had received a draft of the U.S.-backed plan and he expects to discuss it with U.S. President Donald Trump in coming days.
