V008-ISRAEL ATAQUES IRANIES NORTE
STORY: Dozens of people in northern Israel were injured and homes damaged after the region was hit by barrages of missiles from Iran in the early hours of Friday (March 13), according to several local reports.
Israel's emergency response unit, the Magen David Adom (MDA), said over 50 people were provided with medical treatment and evacuated after missiles fired from Iran hit homes in the northern village of Zarzir near Nazareth, the Israel National News and Times of Israel reported.
Most of the injured suffered light wounds from glass shards and one woman was moderately injured from a shrapnel, the local news cited the MDA.
The leaders of Iran, Israel and the United States all voiced defiance and vowed to fight on as the Middle East war approached the two-week mark on Friday, killing thousands of people, disrupting the lives of millions of others and shaking financial markets.
