U.S. President Donald Trump said at an event in Las Vegas, Nevada, that the war in Iran is going "swimmingly" and that it "should be ending pretty soon."

Speaking at a roundtable on Thursday (April 16), the president said tankers in the region are being stopped.

"The ships are out there today and they're saying, don't come here, don't even think about it. And you have these massive tankers saying, let's get the hell out of here," he said.
