U.S. President Donald Trump led his Republican Party in a mock pledge during their political convention in Dallas on Thursday (September 10), telling them to "cheat like hell" and vote whether they're "registered or not" in November's midterm elections.

Raising his right hand, he further joked that people who didn't vote would "go to hell".

A U.S. appeals court on Thursday had declined to allow President Donald Trump's administration to implement a new U.S. Postal Service rule that would tighten mail-in voting requirements before November's congressional elections, as the U.S. Supreme Court weighs a similar request.
