CCTV captured the moment a passenger train smashed through a truck's trailer at a level crossing in Poland on Thursday (September 3). The footage released by state-owned Polish Railway Lines shows the truck crossing the tracks as barriers come down. The truck stops on the tracks as an onlooker shouts to the driver. The railway said the onlooker had been telling the driver to break through the crossing's barrier and get off the tracks. Moments later, a passenger train ploughs through the trailer sending debris flying. Polish Railway Lines said that while the truck driver was unharmed, the driver of the train was taken to hospital. No passengers were injured. The railway company advised drivers to break through barriers if they find themselves on a crossing with a train approaching.
