Emergency crews used heavy machinery overnight to right a Dutch tour bus that overturned near the Swiss Alpine village of Susch on Thursday (September 10).

Several people were killed and others injured after the bus, carrying a Dutch tour group, struck a guardrail and flipped onto its side, according to Graubuenden cantonal police.

Police have not released casualty figures, but Dutch tour operator OAD said 48 Dutch nationals were on board the nearly full coach.

Footage from the scene showed cranes lifting the damaged bus upright early on Friday (September 11) morning, as emergency workers secured the crash site beside the roadway.
