STORY: At least 10 people were injured after tornadoes hit northern Oklahoma on Thursday (April 23), KOCO News, an affiliate of ABC News reported.

According to the report, emergency crews were conducting search and rescue operations after a tornado caused significant damage, impacting Vance Air Force Base, which is located in Enid, Oklahoma.

Footage filmed by KOCO showed debris flying through the air as the tornado swirled near the military base. The National Weather Service (NWS) said damage to roofs, windows, vehicles and trees was expected.

The NWS added that hail about the size of a golf ball was possible in an advisory issued Thursday night.
