S612-INDIA INUNDACIONES
STORY: Torrential rains caused severe flooding in the Indian city of Ajmer on Saturday (July 19).
Drone footage showed an artificial lake in the city known as Varun Sagar swollen and its surrounding areas inundated with floodwaters.
Rescuers were seen helping people move around, while sandbags were used along at least one road in an attempt to stem the flow of the water.
India’s Meteorological Department has warned of more heavy rainfall, according to local reports.
