STORY: U.S. First Lady Melania Trump said at a news conference in Kerrville on Friday (July 11) that she promised all those affected by the deadly Texas floods that she would be back soon.
Trump added that she hugged and prayed with the parents who lost their children in the July 4 floods.
"We are grieving with you. Our nation is grieving with you," Trump said.
U.S. President Donald Trump praised first responder for rescuing efforts and vowed to take "historic action to ensure that such a nightmare never happens again."
Flash floods that swept through parts of the Texas Hill Country killed at least 120, with more than 160 people unaccounted for.

MELANIA TRUMP: "My deepest sympathy to all of the parents who lost beautiful young souls. Deepest sympathies from all of us. To the community. To everybody who lost a loved one. We are grieving with you. Our nation is grieving with you. We just met with wonderful families. We pray with them. We hug. We hold hands. They share the stories. And I met beautiful young ladies.They gave me this special bracelet from the camp in honour of all of the little girls that they lost their lives. So we are here to honour them and also to give the support, help. And I will be back. I promised to them. And I just pray for them and giving them my strength and love."
