STORY: A Russian drone strike destroyed a private house in the southeastern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia on Saturday (March 21), killing a man and a woman and injuring two children, local officials said.

The victims, identified as Dmytro and Yana, died at the scene, according to authorities. The couple's daughters, aged 11 and 15, were pulled from the wreckage by rescuers and neighbours, including Mykhailo Voropaiev, a wounded National Guard veteran who lived nearby.

Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov said on the Telegram app that the weekend attack had turned the morning into a tragedy, calling it "further evidence" of what he described as targeted terror against civilians.
