Kpop supergroup BTS held on Saturday (March 21) a free ‘BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE’ concert in central Seoul.

About 42,000 people gathered for the event, including 22,000 people who had obtained free tickets for the concert, citing city government and police estimates.

Seoul city government said it had set up medical stations and secured 2,552 toilets open to the public, including in nearby buildings.

The hour-long concert in historic Gwanghwamun Square, which sits to the south of the Gyeongbokgung place, marked the release of the new album ‘Arirang.’

BTS debuted in 2013 and have gone on to global superstardom, becoming the most streamed Kpop artist globally on Spotify, its members invited to the White House and partnering with the U.N. General Assembly.

In 2022, the group went on hiatus so the members could complete South Korea's mandatory military service though each launched solo careers.
