STORY: Thousands of people turned out for Prague Pride on Saturday (August 2), marching—and dancing—their way through the ancient Czech capital.

"This is the only day when we can feel normal," said vehicle designer Antonin Smrz, "we don't have to be afraid to go outside wearing colourful clothes and showing who we are."

The march made its way from Wenceslas Square, through the medieval city centre, across the Vltava river to a festival ground in Letna Park.

Among the revellers were diplomats from embassies and mission in the Czech capital.
