People paid their respects to Giorgi Armani, whose coffin was lying in state on Saturday (September 6) at the Armani Theatre.

In a room lit up with candlelight, the coffin of the "king" of Italian fashion is displayed for everyone to pay tribute to the designer, before a private funeral takes place on Monday afternoon (September 8).

Armani, 91, died on Thursday (September 4), half a century after he founded his namesake company, which has since grown into a luxury goods conglomerate spanning haute couture to perfume, make-up and even furniture.
