STORY: Authorities declared a major incident in Monmouth, Wales on Saturday (November 15) after Storm Claudia triggered widespread flooding.

The incident was declared at 01:30 GMT, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said, and emergency responders have been carrying out evacuations and moving residents to safety since.

Video obtained by the BBC showed severe flooding on streets and on land, with houses submerged in water and emergency teams in action.
