"You know I am one of you. I used to come to the patriotic pilgrimage simply as Karol Nawrocki. I came here as an employee of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), as the director of the Museum of World War Two, as the head of the state Institute of National Remembrance (IPN). Last year, you welcomed me as a candidate for the office of the president of the Republic of Poland and thanks to your courage and the fact that the stadiums were not affected by propaganda and some temporary ideological trends, I became president and I would like to thank you for that."
