S006-CHINA FERIA INTERNACIONAL IA
The 2025 World AI Conference, which opened on Saturday in Shanghai, will focus on integrating AI governance with industrial practices.
Spanning over 70,000 square meters, the exhibition has attracted more than 800 enterprises to showcase over 3,000 cutting-edge products, including more than 100 making their world or China debut.
This conference has introduced a "three-question" mechanism of "mathematical questioning, model questioning, and scientific questioning".
There will be 12 Nobel Prize and Turing Award laureates weighing in on AI-related topics in academic discussions.
For the first time, the event will integrate themes of AI governance standards, intellectual property rights, and open-source culture into the framework of industrial practices.
"This year's conference will explore how AI governance and industrial practices can be integrated. For example, it will examine how AI governance shapes standards development, intellectual property regimes, and how open-source initiatives can be carried out within the broader context of AI global governance," said Zhong Junhao, a member of the Secretariat of the World AI Conference.
Throughout the event, numerous forums and exchange sessions will be held, with over 1,200 participants from more than 30 countries and regions in attendance.
