STORY: Britain's King Charles wrapped up his first day in Bermuda with a garden party at Government House on Friday (May 1).

Charles’s day began with a welcome ceremony in St George’s, marking his first visit as sovereign to the British territory.

He then visited Trunk Island, where he toured the island’s environmental education facilities.

Later, he met traditional Gombey dancers and rode on a coast guard boat in Bermuda.
