Lima, Perú

At least 13 vehicles were involved in a pileup on a road in Peru's Lima region early Friday (September 5) morning, according to Peruvian authorities. The multi-vehicle pileup occurred in Huaral province, located north of Lima, when dense fog reportedly caused visibility issues that led to the collision. The crash involved a mix of trucks and three passenger buses.

While authorities initially reported only one person injured with a fracture, local media sources suggested the casualty count could be significantly higher, with at least 12 people potentially injured in the incident.
