S004-ISRAEL ATAQUE 12 MUERTOS GAZA
Bodies arrived at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis on Friday (April 24) after Israeli fire killed at least 12 people, including six police officers, across Gaza, Palestinian health officials said.
A strike on Khan Younis killed seven people, including four police officers, after hitting a police vehicle near a wedding hall, Gaza's interior ministry and local medics said. Separate attacks in Gaza City and Beit Lahiya killed five more. The Israeli military said it targeted Hamas militants in a Gaza City strike but did not immediately comment on the other incidents.
Grieving relatives cried over bodies laid on the hospital floor as more casualties were brought in on gurneys.
Violence in Gaza has persisted despite the October 2025 ceasefire, with Israel conducting near-daily attacks on Palestinians.
At least 800 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire deal took effect, according to local medics, while Israel says militants have killed four of its soldiers.
