U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited Mother Teresa House and Nirmala Children's Home, a charity founded by the late nun, after landing in Kolkata on Saturday (May 23). Rubio, a Roman Catholic, is on an official four-day trip and his first visit to India. Rubio later left for New Delhi, where he is scheduled to meet India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to a schedule released by the U.S. State Department. His visit will also include stops in Agra and Jaipur, the State Department said.
