: Russian troops have taken control of the village of Stara Mykolaivka in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Tuesday (May 27).

Reuters was able to confirm location in the video released by the Russian Defence Ministry by the buildings, trees and road layout, which matched satellite imagery of the area. Reuters couldn't independently verify the date when the video was filmed.

Reuters also could not independently confirm the battlefield report.
