Dutch crown princess Amalia revealed some of her plans for the future on Monday (June 30), as she and her family gathered in the Hague for their yearly summer photo session.

The princess, who is finishing a Bachelor in Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics, will continue with a second Bachelor in Dutch law, which she will combine with a military training program, she told the gathered Dutch press.

"So I'll be a working student at the Defence Department", she said.

Amalia will join the The Defensity College, which provides basic military training for students to become a reservist in the Dutch army. The training takes two years to complete.

After she fell from a horse in the beginning of June, Amalia is still recovering from an arm injury, which will have an impact on her training. "I will be a bit delayed, but I'm really looking forward to it", Amalia continued.
