STORY: Wildfires burned near homes in Turkey's Hatay on Monday evening (June 30) with residents being evacuated according to officials.
Regional governor, Mustafa Masatli, said at least 20 houses were vacated and people relocated to residence halls.
More than 50,000 people have been evacuated from five regions, including more than 42,000 in Izmir, Turkey's AFAD emergency management authority said.
