M606-UCRANIA ATAQUE RUSO
STORY: At least one person was killed and two injured in a Russian shelling attack in Ukraine's Sumy region, Ukrainian emergency services said on Monday (May 26).
Footage released by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Monday showed firefighters working to extinguish blazes along several outbuildings. The blaze was caused by Russian strikes that involved cluster munitions, the emergency service said.
Reuters was not able to independently verify the location and date when the video was filmed.
The governor of Ukraine's Sumy region on the Russian border said on Monday that Russian forces had captured four villages as part of an attempt to create a "buffer zone" on Ukrainian territory.
