Four people, including a three-year-old boy, Yahya Al‑Malahi, were killed on Tuesday (April 14) in an Israeli strike that targeted a police vehicle in Gaza City, the Hamas-run Interior Ministry said.

A police officer was among the dead, while nine bystanders were wounded, some critically, it said.

In a separate incident near Jabalia, Israeli fire also killed a 14-year-old child, health authorities and his family said.

The deaths were the latest violence across the Gaza Strip to undermine a U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement.

Israel's military did not immediately provide comment on either incident.

The ceasefire that began last October halted two years of full-blown war but left Israeli troops in control of a depopulated zone that makes up well over half of Gaza, with Hamas in power in the remaining, narrow coastal strip.

More than 750 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire deal took effect, while militants have killed four Israeli soldiers. Israel and Hamas have traded blame for ceasefire violations.

Palestinians also say Israeli forces have been expanding the zone they occupy. Israel denies this.

Until this moment, one martyr has been transported, as well as a big number of injured. These injured are in a very critical state due to the overcrowding of this area.
