Drone footage captured the partially frozen Vistula River in Warsaw on Tuesday (February 3), as extreme cold hit the country.

Poland experiences the coldest winter in years, with severe frost warnings in force across almost the entire country and temperatures forecast to reach up to minus 30 Celsius in many regions.

The prolonged sub-zero conditions also caused the sea in the Bay of Gdansk in the southern Baltic to begin freezing in recent days.
