M071-IRAN RESCATES TRAS BOMBARDEOS DE EE UU E ISRAEL

07 de abril 2026 - 16:57

Pardis, Teherán, Irán

Rescue workers searched through rubble and debris of a destroyed building in the Tehran province of Pardis in footage released Tuesday (April 7) as a U.S.-imposed deadline loomed for Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz.

Reuters verified the location from the buildings, windows, road layout and street lights seen in the video which matched satellite imagery of the area. Coordinates of the damaged building 35.74051793382197, 51.84935140958186.

The exact time when the video was shot was not verified but no older version of the video was found posted online before April 7, 2026. Iranian news agency said airstrikes hit the Pardis city of northeastern Tehran on early April 7.

Iran showed no sign of accepting Donald Trump's ultimatum to open the Strait of Hormuz by the end of Tuesday, while the U.S. president threatened that "a whole civilization will die tonight" unless Tehran reached a last-minute deal.

Trump has given Iran until 8 p.m. in Washington - 3:30 a.m. in Tehran - to end its blockade of Gulf oil, or he will destroy every bridge and power plant in Iran. Iran says it would retaliate against U.S. allies in the Gulf, whose desert cities would be uninhabitable without power or water.
