Negociators from Ukraine, Russia and the United States will meet in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and 11, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday (November 2).

"We expect the trilateral meetings between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia to resumen in the near future, on November 10-11. These will be meetings at the working-leevel. We hope that wokr in this format, along with out other diplomatic steps, will pave the way for trilateral meetings at the leaders' level."

"For us, there are priorities; in my view, they should be priorities for all reasonable people. Energy - that is, a ceasefire on both sides - as well as critical infrastructure. Second, there's grain, which means reopening access to the Black Sea. This is in the interest not only of Ukraine but also of Russia, in my view."

"We are enetering ht enegociation process in a stable situation, facing very serious challenges regarding air defense, and in a stable situation on the battlefield. Nevertheless, we are ready for diplomatic steps, ready for peace, for dialogue, and for a just resolution. But, I emphasize once again, we need security (guarantees). Peace, but also security guarantees. This parallel process is very important."

“We are not inviting Putin to Kyiv. First of all, they came to us uninvited in 2022. But there’s no point in inviting Putin to Kyiv, because they won’t come. Inviting them just so they won’t come is destructive. It’s the same as inviting me to Moscow. What Russia is doing is destructive - it’s simply spitting in the face of the entire world, which wants the war to end.”

"If we speak on the phone, Russia will undoubtedly use it as an excuse to avoid meeting in person. And we understand this game - it's a dead end. It will be a very formal, dry phone conversation, where I'll listen yet again to a history lesson from the leader of the Russian Federation - rather than concrete steps on how to actually end the war."
