M068-UCRANIA MISILES FLAMINGO
Ukraine attacked several Russian targets with missiles overnight, including defence manufacturing facilities in the Russian city of Cheboksary, more than 1,500 km (930 miles) away, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday (May 5).
"Our long-range measures continue to provide an entirely just response to Russian strikes," he said on X.
The factory supplies navigation components for the Russian Navy, the missile industry, aviation and armoured vehicles, Zelenskiy said.
On the Telegram messaging app, Zelenskiy published video said to show F-5 Flamingo missile launch. Reuters was not able to verify the location or date when the video was recorded.
