M066-TURQUIA TRUMP SOBRE CONTROL DE GROENLANDIA
U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday (July 7) that Greenland should be controlled by the United States, not Denmark.
"That should be controlled by the United States, not by Denmark. And when they wouldn't go along with it, and with all the money we spend to help them with Russia, we don't have to spend any money. We could remove all of our soldiers out of Europe," Trump said during a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan.
Trump was in Ankara to attend this year's NATO summit hosted by Turkey.
