M006-IRAN HOSPITAL DAÑADO BOMBARDEOS
STORY: Floors and beds of Tehran's Motahari Hospital were scattered with shattered glass and fallen ceiling boards on Tuesday (March 3) after it was evacuated a day before following a nearby strike.
The World Health Organization (WHO) on Monday (March 2) said it was working to verify claims of damage to Motahari Hospital, along with emergency medical centers in Sarab, northwestern Iran, and the western province of Hamadan.
The reports emerged after U.S. and Israeli-coordinated strikes over the weekend that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Iran's ambassador to the U.N. in Geneva, Ali Bahreini, addressed the Human Rights Council on Monday, stating that hospitals had been subjected to "indiscriminate attacks," though he did not provide specific details.
