M005-UCRANIA ATAQUE RUSO EN ODESA
A massive Russian overnight drone attack targeted civilian and port infrastructure in the Odesa region, damaging a Panamanian-flagged ship, a dock, and a barge at the Izmail port, Odesa Regional Governor Oleh Kiper said on Tuesday (April 14).
In the surrounding district, a strike destroyed a car repair shop, triggering a fire that consumed two passenger buses and seven cars.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region released footage showing rescuers battling the blazes.
Reuters was not able to confirm the location and date of the footage; however, no older versions of the video were found posted before April 14.
Local officials reported that six private houses and an ambulance were also damaged in the barrage. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blazes despite being repeatedly hampered by air raid sirens. No fatalities or injuries were reported, and municipal services remain on-site to clear the debris.
