M001-TURQUÍA TORNADO FUEGO
STORY: Firefighters were seen attempting to put out a 'fire tornado' in Bilecik, Turkey as seen in a video released on Monday (July 21) by Turkey's forestry ministry.
Large plumes of smoke could be seen spiralling up into the sky, as firefighters doused the flames with a water hose.
The location and date when the video was filmed could not be independently verified.
Hundreds of wildfires have broken out across Turkey this summer, forcing tens of thousands of people to temporarily evacuate their homes across the country. Two people were killed by the blazes in the western province of Izmir this month.
Greece and other Mediterranean countries are in an area dubbed "a wildfire hotspot" by scientists - with blazes common during hot and dry summers.
